However Oil is so simple and easy to make money off of. Also it was the first to be monetized. Therefore the owners of oil, and anyone who has a special interest in oil are rich, and can buy any patent they want, then can choose whether to use it, ot let it sit on the shelf. Yes, human beings emit a tiny fraction of the energy put out by the sun (duh!) but at the same time our CO-2 emissions are big enough to TRAP this solar heat at a rate not seen for millions of years. So, to recap: you're confusing two totally different things: energy output and insulation. The insulation is increasing global warming. But thanks for posting that Modern Marvels clip.
