beckjuly ::: Favorites When I was a kid growing up in Huntington Beach, I used to watch Sandy play drums in her garage. I remember how powerful she was!! Then the next thing i knew...the Runaways came out with Cherry Bomb and she was a star!!. I could not believe it when I recently picked up a Rolling Stone mag and saw she had died...God Bless sandy. You were a childhood hero to me and I will always remember you as the girl down the street who played KICK-ASS drums in her garage!
