You said that you read about the God of the Old Testament and that He was someone you didn't want. That tells me that you don't have the full understanding of the Bible. In the OT God was dealing with man's sins. Now in the NT(us) God has already dealt with our sins upon the cross and now we are living in the time of His Grace. Did you ever accept Christ as your Savior or did you just go to church on a regular basis? That might be the problem. KingHeathen ::: Favorites oh yes...the oh so intelligent diet of the OT...let's see...no shellfish, no pork...how much you think that was "vast knowledge" and how much was actually "ignorance"...if you don't cook pork fully it can make you sick.
