Description: A scene from Legend of Link, a fan film by Obsession Studios about the Legend of Zelda. This video comes straight from the director himself. This scene is packed full of all kinds of things. First off, it's an anime-dressed guy trying to pull the Master Sword from its pedestal when Link arrives. He asks Link to be gone but Link stays, so he pulls up a crappy yu-gi-oh duel armpiece, plays magic the gathering to pokemon music with pokemon transitions, and there are a few final fantasy instances, such as the victory theme. Tom also makes an appearance, playing pokemon, which was a craze among us dragon kidz at the time. The big axe you see is my halloween at school prop I made. Originally Link was supposed to be overwhelmed by people and Tingle came to save the day dropping bombs. However, we forgot the bombs and tingle-tuner and Dan didn't come, so we scratched that. The ending theme is from Star Wars III and was supposed to be replaced by a better "Pull from stone" theme, but I didn't. It ended up working since alot of shit went down after this scene, so the ominous tune really had a nice effect. |
