mattboggs ::: Favorites A Google search for the MiG-3u turned up this: Performance was superior to one of the MiG-3. Series production was discussed, but was found unnecessary in 1943. Lavochkin and Yakovlev fighters production was increased, those aircraft fulfilled performance requirement. ivanradosevic ::: Favorites I play IL-2, and I started to hate the BF-109. It`s actually such a shit of an airplane! You can`t shoot anyone down with it! La-5 is so much better. I arranged flights where I would fly alone with a La-5 or even with a MiG-3u and shoot down 3 109`s that are after me! And I don`t understand something. The MiG-3u is much better than the standard MiG-3, but the u version is never mentioned in any literature. What`s the difference? A new engine?
