maredicorsica ::: Favorites 2008-01-13 21:44:17 The album Romantic Warrior was one of my favourites when I was at high school in late seventies. __________________________________________________
Thekouder1 ::: Favorites 2008-01-11 20:13:40 I was boppin' my head throughout the whole song! __________________________________________________

BorysPomianek ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 17:08:05 Its Di Meola Plutaris not Dimiola __________________________________________________
plutaris33 ::: Favorites 2007-12-28 15:41:45 Just terrible camera work. The idiot is behind Clarke & Dimiola when they're jamming until they're almost done! Incredible performance though, it almost sounded exactly like the album. __________________________________________________
awbolden ::: Favorites 2007-12-22 23:44:49 Steve Gadd was scheduled to be the drummer after Airto left the band, however, he didn't want to tour at the time. Chick met Lenny White during their time with Miles Davis. __________________________________________________
zappanas ::: Favorites 2007-12-19 12:50:32 Coreas keyboard sounds so mysterius, so distant from this world...thanx __________________________________________________
rayanthonybrown ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 03:03:12 bassplyr1961, you made my day with that news brother.. __________________________________________________
rayanthonybrown ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 03:01:16 I saw this line up in'83. The intensity was immeasurable. Almost frightening. When Clark started riffing, the sound wasn't only heard, but felt, everyone began to roar and yelp. You could feel your body resonate with the subfrequency bass tones. Al just blistered the place to scrapnel with incredible speed, and inhuman hand vibrato. I wasn't sure if we would all get out safely, it was so intense and beautiful. Lenny White always displays the most incredible techinque in syncopated drumming. __________________________________________________
sicilianbabe8 ::: Favorites 2007-11-18 00:45:14 Yeah there is a part 2! I was up and dancing and the damn music stopped....sheesh interuptus coitus! That is not good. Got the groove back. I played Romantic Warrior in my car tape deck until it completely fell apart--all stretched out and crumpled. I never got to see them so this makes up for that. Thanks for the video __________________________________________________
Easygoingbass ::: Favorites 2007-11-14 17:03:20 Thats true quality musicianship!!!! __________________________________________________
bassplyr1961 ::: Favorites 2007-10-30 13:07:19 You'll be happy to hear Al D announced and Stanley confirmed they're reuniting the summer of '08. __________________________________________________
Barla90 ::: Favorites 2007-10-23 18:54:01 I still can't believe how they can play this stuff. Romantic Warrior may be one of the most technical albums I've ever heard. I'd love to see more of live stuff from the album. __________________________________________________ |
