Description: Rhythm & Fever - The East Side Story A Theatrical Ballroom Dance Event Set in the streets of Spanish Harlem, The Rhythm & Fever Show: "The East Side Story" fuses the action of the theatre with the beauty and pageantry of ballroom dance to weave a story of passion, freedom, and true love. This one of a kind show tells the tail of Rhythm, a young man in search of true love and freedom, and Fever, a young woman caught between the choice of love and money. One night, at a local cafe, Rhythm discovers Fever romancing the money from all the local men. As the moon grows in the sky, so does the passion between the two, but before the night is over they will be separated. The Villain, a wealthy landowner, will do what ever it takes too make Fever his! As The Villain entices Fever with money, Rhythm persuades her with passion, but the power of money consumes Fever and she runs off with the Villain. Heart broken and filled with anger, Rhythm's pursuit of love is shattered and replaced with the quest for revenge. While searching he sees Fever strolling in the park with her new dress and sparkling jewelry. Confronted by Rhythm, Fever is torn between her need for money and her love for Rhythm. Being with him again, she realizes her mistake and begs for forgiveness, but before Rhythm & Fever can live happily ever after, The Villain challenges Rhythm in a showdown. The two face-off in the final struggle between love and money, with Rhythm & Fever's future on the line. |
