| NT4300 ::: Favorites 2008-01-15 07:12:47 The Bismark was scutteled by the German's, the HMS Prince of Wale's...I think was the ship that fired the torpedo that dameged her rutter that only allowed her to steer at 16 dehrees, which meant she could only go in big circles...thus the reason the German's scutteled her to avoid capture. __________________________________________________ | |

| kenijaru ::: Favorites 2008-01-10 21:18:37 like one of the bismarck survivors said, "both sides sunk the bismarck". the only one torpedo dammaged the ship, plus few (if any) shells penetrated the main deck and belt armor. When he sunk, it went to the oposite side from where the torpedoes hit him. That goes agains any logic, unless... the ship was scuttled! but then again, there would have been no need to scutle him if it hadn't been for the royal navy.
