Jazzmatazz was just too deep for the mainstream, it was some real musical shit. One of the main arguments musicians have saying Hip Hop isnt music is the lack of original music, and Jazzmatazz mixed in live music with real lyrics. Can ben round since 95? Guru bin kickin it since 89 and still kickin strong.

LOL! Homie Guru hasn't been "kickin strong" since '98. He really aint shit without Preme, and that's the honest truth. For real, sometimes when I here beats like Mass Appeal, I get a little upset just thinking about how Guru doesn't do the beats justice. Imagine someone actually lyrical, take Nas for example, rippin' Mass Appeal. That shit would be crazy! Whateva though, Guru's still ill, dude just gets outshined by Preme... alot.

Yo, I cant believe I didnt point this out earlier... If Guru's really an elite lyricist, how come Jadakiss absolutely DESTROYED him on his own shit? Yeah, homie, explain that for me. Listen to the song. It's not even close, really. And Jada really isn't super lyrical, but he still definitely outshined Guru.

I admit his mainstream shit wasn't his best material. It's his Jazzmatazz and other shit (plus older less MTV era stuff) that really showcases his lyrical ability. But you don't know music enough to be able to respect it.

LOL! I dont know music enough to be able to respect it?.. Uhm, do you know me dog? Like f'real, who the FUCK are you? lol.. Im tryn' to spare you a viscous e-sonning, but my patience with your ignorant-ass is runnin' out... Take the Loss I gave you and keep it moving. You dont know Hip Hop, that much is apparent. Maybe you're new to the genre, maybe youre just a fuckin dumbass, I dont know.

From the way you talk, I can tell you're not a real music enthusiast, because real music enthusiasts respect others individual opinions and experiences. You couldn't respect Jazzmatazz either, which leads me to believe you listen to nothing other then radio rock and Hip-Hop. It's easy to deduce things about a person by their vocab, means of presenting themselves and general point of view.

HA, and you even supported Uncle Murda? I lost respect for DJ Green Lantern for that dead beat excuse for a gimmick. I shot 9 people, PAH! Pathetic.

Dog I enjoy what I enjoy. I have different moods. Sometimes when im gettin' pumped up for something, yes, i'll listen to some Uncle Murder. I also listen to Brand Nubian, Pac, Wu Tang, some Hyphy shit, Scarface, Dipset, Mos Def, Common, Bone Thugs, Little Brother, Murs, and G-unit. It's called diversity. I know as much about Hip Hop as ANYONE, but what im not, is an elitist.
