I'm not english either... You mean when Raiden says: "Still ticking, huh?". Vamp answers: "Unfortunately, hell had no vacancies" Vamp's voice is great, but without subtitles, the non-english guys cant tell what he's talking about.

Yeah, and the Chinaman character was reused in MGS3 as "The Fear", although he wasn't immortal. There was also a removed character called Oldboy, who was later used as "The End" of MGS3.

Vamp revives because of water. Every time he 'dies' he comes into contact with water and revives. There was originally a character in MGS 2 called 'chinaman' who had the ability that he revives when he came in contact with water, they removed him because of time and stuff. I think they gave his ability to Vamp.
