Description:

The congressional record speaks for itself. HR 1094 - Sanctity of Life Act of 2007 http://thomas.loc.gov/home/gpoxmlc110/h1094_ih.xml HR 1094 and HR 2597 are identical. You can also go to http://thomas.loc.gov/ and put in the bill numbers if the above link craps out. http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode18/usc_sec_18_00001111----000-.html Federal murder statute. http://www.politicalcompass.org/usprimaries2007 Political Compass for the 2007 Primary Candidates. Ron Paul is right leaning and leans towards the authoritarian side of things.

Individual Rights is protected under the Constitution which is a Federal law. Therefore, if a conception is considered a human being it only follows it should be protected by Federal law. Regardless of belief on abortion, I admire Ron Paul's courage to state his beliefs and create legislation.

LOL @ the 10th amendment comment. He wants a cleaner law in the federal government so the courts in each state can argue and you think it's a huge blow? Come off it man. Please stop saying you support Dr. Paul, it just makes you look bad.

"Sanctity of Life Act of 2007". He has been there for over 4000 live births and so I don't blame him for his views. and he believes that the child should have his rights even if he/she can't speak yet.

Well said. Well Said. The constitution dictates to the Federal Government what it can and can not do. This is only one of the jobs the Federal Government must do and has never had any guidlines to do it. These laws introduced are (under the constitution) the Feds job to protect life. (even at conception) States rights must follow the constitution too.

This guy is a self-serving disinformer. How much was he paid by one of the other candidates? his statement are bullshit... we can dig up shit about any of the other candidates. note Ron Paul was the first candidate to talk about the US dependency on foreign money lo and behold...read the papers.. this fucking govt is corrupt...your a cheesy liar for hire. There may not be any more States rights when the Arab Oil fuckers run this country very soon. Dependency, indeed.

Hmm, apparently I was wrong on the federal level murder thingy. So that actually scares me too. Oh, and what I said about appellate courts, I didn't know that was another name for Court of Appeals.

states having more power is a step closer to the people having a more significant say in public policy. as far as dr. paul goes, what significant act of legislation has he introduced and passed in his 20+ years of congressional service that furthers the causes he advocates today. what has he accomplished... oh right nothing. he is a lame duck congressman, and as such will be a lame duck president. but since he wont get the nomination, it really doesnt matter

Has this guy ever supported RON PAUL?. He presents this video as if he once supported RON PAUL. This guy never supported RON PAUL. So why does he say " I AM LOOSING FAITH IN RON PAUL""" he never had any. So why. OH YEAH If he makes himself one of the supporters he is now a trust worthy insider. Then we say " oh yeah I believe we should reevaluate our faith in Ron Paul because one of our own has found out THE TRUTH" silly boy don't you know I can smell a pinko comi whore from 24,000 miles away.

actually, you spent 8 minutes of your time, not me. I am saying the rights of the individual are always more important than the powers of the government (state, local or federal) and that Dr. Paul seems to be conveniently forgetting this on this particular issue.

He has said many times that the states do not have rights in regards to life, liberty and the persuit to happiness as these are given to us by our creator. The constitution is the law above states. The supreme court is the only one that can rule on the constitution. He believes as an OBGYN doctor that life begins at conceptions as it does have legal rights already. This does not differ from what he states openly.

Let me get this straight...you just spent 8+ minutes of my time and who knows how much of yours finding fault with Ron Paul...to prove what? Are you saying abortion might not be murder because somebody somewhere might need one? Are you saying state's rights is more important than life itself? Just what the heck are you saying? Your message certainly isn't very clear.

Abortion rights are my first point of contention with Paul too, and if Abortion were the greatest threat to our well-being and civil liberties, then I might not support Ron Paul. Unfortunately, we are facing much more serious threats that must be dealt with, and until these are resolved, abortion is pretty much a moot point. No one ever said Ron is perfect, but he's our best chance.

So.....What does the right to LIFE, Liberty and the persuit of happiness mean????? Methinks life is already protected at the federal level. You must be an avid abortionist. Life is life and law is law. Ron Paul 2008
