One day staying at a motel with a female companion he awoke to find out that she wasn't there so he went to ask the lady working at the front desk of the motel about the woman's whereabouts. The lady claims that he went into a rage when she couldn't tell him and attacked her and that in self defense she shot him. His last words were "Lady you shot me" and he died. GumUnderBootCamp ::: Favorites I just read about that on wikipedia last night. I hate to say it, but if he was drinking...maybe he did flip out...does that mean that she should have shot him? No! The grey area of it all makes me sick to my stomach for as much respect as I have for Sam Cooke.. That girl who claimed was about to be raped by him...I DEFINITLY don't think that she took his clothes by "accident" I know how women CAN be...it's not pretty..
