sucka4luv ::: Favorites 2007-03-29 18:50:55 Cranberry juice has been recommended for patients with recurrent urinary tract infections. However, cranberry juice has a moderately high concentration of oxalate, a common component of kidney stones, and should be limited in patients with a history of nephrolithiasis. __________________________________________________
mythz07 ::: Favorites 2007-04-05 01:04:34 Preventing nephrolithiasis involves drinking plenty of water, lowering your salt intake, avoiding soda and maintaining proper vitamin and nutrients in the body. I recommend at least a gallon of water per day (over the recommended preventative amount), lowering salt intake and supplimenting more vitamins than the average person gets. High protein diets puts you at risk for nephrolithiasis and you need to act against the risk with plenty of water and, as I recommended, cranberry tablets. __________________________________________________
mythz07 ::: Favorites 2007-04-05 01:04:56 Considering the high protein diet that's required for muscle building, muscle maintenance and/or fat loss, you may want to consider cranberry tablets. It's your choice if you want to take them or not. __________________________________________________ |
