xsmoke ::: Favorites 2007-07-13 10:12:46 sorry but this sound is awfull... u can buy jackson for this ultra-overgained sound not a jaguar christ! __________________________________________________
creepingnet ::: Favorites 2007-07-13 20:51:33 Well, I don't want a Jackson, Jacksons are boring generic guitars to me. Everybody has em', and to me, those high-output pickups sound too flat and not tight and defined enough for me. Personally, I love the sound myself. __________________________________________________
Offroad2224 ::: Favorites 2007-07-14 00:56:03 i was thinking about buying a Jaguar, they sound really clean, i got an Ibanez ISJ40, its got a buzzing noise, i think one of the frets need to be filed down __________________________________________________
xsmoke ::: Favorites 2007-07-14 06:32:38 Of course hi-output is boring and flat. But then I dont understand why u playin it with overgained flat sound on amp. Maybe because its easy. I want to see you play something on this great guitar with tube amp and minimum gain. __________________________________________________
creepingnet ::: Favorites 2007-07-14 11:07:39 Actually, I have a few vids of me playing which have some clean tones, including my vids of me on the Line6 amp (this was done on an amp modeler), as well as the Vibramute vid has me using nothing but clean tone if I recall. __________________________________________________
creepingnet ::: Favorites 2007-07-14 11:11:51 Sounds like your ibanez either has a bad ground (electronic buzzing), or needs a fret level or refret (mechanical). As far as Jaguars go, they can run from a pokey clean tone (better for surf and indio rock), to something more like this, which is close to an Ybarra wound 60's Jag with a few extra turns (that was the benchmark for mine, a stock 63' Jag). __________________________________________________
creepingnet ::: Favorites 2007-07-14 11:13:23 Well, I do cite Andy Summers as an influence. This is pretty much my usual style, sort of an 80's meets 90's type sound, hence the 60's style Fender offset behind a chorused early 80's type overdriven Marshall sound. __________________________________________________
n2motocross ::: Favorites 2007-07-16 17:44:08 Excellent Tone and chops!!!!!! __________________________________________________
jimmynoerk ::: Favorites 2007-07-19 13:42:55 wich distorsion do you use on the solo?????!!!! beatiful music new jimi hendrix __________________________________________________
creepingnet ::: Favorites 2007-07-19 20:18:52 Thankx for the kind comment. I use a Behringer V-Amp Pro Rackmount Processor through a SoundBlaster card. The Behringer is set to British Hi-Gain (JCM 800 emulator) with either the EVH 78' Cab (Van-Halen cab), or the 67' 2X12 (Marshall 2X12") cabinet, with Chorus 2 enabled. The gain is backed around 3 o' clock, Drive off, all EQ knobs up full, and volume at desired level. __________________________________________________
jimmynoerk ::: Favorites 2007-07-22 12:41:16 thanx for the information __________________________________________________
