Description:

JL subwoofer excursion test. These are 6 JL Audio 10w3 dual voice coil at 6 ohms each. They are in two different boxes due to the fact that one big box would not fit. Three of them are version 1 and three are ver 2. The song is the MTX subwoofer test track. You should be able to find it for download. OCAC 06' 1st place. The amp is an older MA Audio 3500 High Current runnong 3500 RMS, not peak. Tested and verified at 144db by Adam Grendel, College Station Texas. Whoop!!!

its SIX there is no mirror there is 2 separate boxes and if you look closely the back subs are V1 so they look different to the front V2's.

ar ok, thats cool, i just dont like people having nothing but bass thinking it sounds good, well it doesnt, yoiu can have too much bass if the rest of the frequency spectrum isnt being produced, anyway, nice system, cya...

The test track produces sub bass frequencies only. Inside the car are two sets of JL VR650 components. Pushing those is another MA Audio 800 high current. You can't tell from the video, but I have already added two layers of dynamat to the trunk. 144 db is just too much for the rest of the chassis. The next step is to disassemble the rear clip and spray each piece with liquid DM. I hope that will quite down some of the noise. Thanks for the comment.

thats nice, now all you need is some speakers to produce the rest of the frequency range and that might sound ok, if you can mask the sound of the car rattling to pieces.
